Bookkeeper needed!
We are a busy office seeking an experienced multi-tasking bookkeeper. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and require very little direction.
The successful candidate will have:
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
Strong bookkeeping background
Quickbooks experience (required)
Ability to resolve complex administrative problems independently on a regular basis. Projects are time sensitive and require a high level of competency.
Ability to take direction from several executive managers
Excellent knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Excellent knowledge of Publisher, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Newsletters
Prior experience answering a multi-line phone system and excellent computer software skills
Duties will include:
Account payable, accounts receivable, travel reimbursements, expense receipts, credit card reconciliations, and bank reconciliations
Organize and maintain accounting files and files for multiple executive managers
Open, sort, and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail
Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests
Conduct research where required for various company projects
Make travel arrangements (airfare, hotel, car rental, etc.) when necessary
Be backup on multi-line phone system
Order and manage office supplies
Other duties as assigned
Applicant must be able to pass a criminal history background check.
Applicant must be able to pass a drug test.
