What were looking for
Were seeking a communicative and detail oriented Chargeback Specialist to join our growing Finance department. This person will report up through our Controller and support and refine our chargeback response process.
What youll do
Evaluate disputes that arise when a cardholder disputes a chargeback
Work with cross functional teams across the business to resolve disputes
Defend our business against unfounded cardholder/guest disputes
Develop an intimate working knowledge of Vacasa's guest facing policies
Conduct follow up investigations as needed
Skills youll need
Strong written communication skills and ability to persuade
Ability to analyze information, think through difficult problems, and make critical decisions based on limited information
Proficiency in Google Suite
Experience in disputes or in the payments industry preferred!
Ability to maintain a positive attitude in the face of difficult situations
Calm approach to problem solving
Detail oriented
Excellent time management and results driven
