Canine Care Specialist


Companions Dog Resort is auditioning for a Canine Care Specialist. Experience is not necessary, as we have a fantastic mentor program. The position revolves around caring after dogs in a group play environment, maintaining safety protocols, and maintaining a clean environment.

Candidates will have:

A Team Mentality! We work together as a team, build up and support each other. Candidates will have good communication skills and a supportive nature to help other teammates through out each workday.

An inner drive to be the hardest working team member at any job or career. Do you have the instinctual drive inside you to work harder; better than other people in the work field? Do you want to be the best at what you do? Here at Companions Dog Resort we all strive to be the best at what we do. Our team is very supportive and we are looking forward to adding another All Star to our crew. This position would not fit well for a person looking to just get by throughout their workday.

A passionate love for dogs is a must. The purpose of why we work so hard is to provide the best care for each and every dog and client. The ability to be on the run all day long. Caring after groups of dogs in an active and fast paced environment. Multi tasking and Acute Situational Awareness are a must! Must be able to work 5 to 8 hour shifts standing and moving on your feet, as well as be able to bend over to clean/pick up after the dogs.

Reliability for shifts. We all depend on each other to do their part. Showing up late or missing shifts is not the standard the rest of the team would allow or accept. Must be willing to work holidays.

One full-time position and one Part-time just became available!

Starting pay depends on experience.
