Position Objective:
Design and improvement of new and existing products and related systems. Recommend design or manufacturing changes necessary to maximize product performance, quality and profitability. Create and maintain Bills of Materials, 3D models/drawings and other technical documentation. Assist in the test lab testing new and existing designs. Provide other technical support, as needed, for special product applications.
Specialized Knowledge & Experience:
Strong Proficiency in the use of Solidworks (or equivalent) software for 2D and 3D computer modeling.
Knowledge of mechanical design practices, materials of construction and their application.
Familiarity with centrifugal and air-operated diaphragm pumps a plus.
Hands on experience in servicing mechanical products and/or pump systems.
Experience with a CMM for QC inspections a plus.
Experience in a testing environment w/Data Acquistion System a plus.
Produce clear, concise and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Present ability to plan and work independently and without extensive supervision.
