We are seeking an experienced Amazon Account Manager to oversee and grow our Amazon third-party seller account for our seasonal consumer product line specializing in holiday items. This role is highly hands-on and requires prior experience managing an Amazon Seller Central account.  The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment — especially during our peak sales season from September through January. You’ll manage all aspects of our Amazon business, including product listings, forecasting, reporting, advertising coordination, and issue resolution. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to execute our seasonal strategies and maximize profitability, ensuring that our seasonal catalog is optimized and performing at its highest potential. This full-time position reports to the Director of Amazon Marketplace and is expected to work in a hybrid model, which currently includes Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in-office. What you’ll do:  Amazon Account Operations  Manage daily operations within Amazon Seller Central, including product listings, pricing, and performance monitoring.  Ensure all listings are optimized with effective titles, keywords, A+ content, and high-quality images.  Monitor account health metrics and maintain compliance with Amazon policies and best practices.  Respond promptly to cases, performance alerts, and other Amazon communications.  Plan and execute seasonal promotions, Lightning Deals, coupons, and advertising pushes during key holiday periods.  Inventory Planning & Forecasting  Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and historical data, accounting for high-volume seasonal spikes.  Coordinate inbound FBA shipments and ensure adequate stock levels throughout the sales cycle.  Manage stranded inventory, suppressed listings, and fulfillment discrepancies proactively.  Work closely with supply chain and warehouse teams to minimize overstock and end-of-season carryover.  Financial Management & Reporting  Assist in managing the Amazon account P&L, tracking sales performance, fees, and profitability.  Generate weekly and monthly performance reports, highlighting trends, successes, and opportunities.  Analyze seasonal performance to inform year-over-year improvements in forecasting and assortment planning.  Issue Resolution & Support  Handle case management for listing errors, suppressed ASINs, policy issues, and other operational roadblocks.  Partner with Amazon support teams to ensure timely resolution of all account and listing issues.  Monitor customer feedback and ratings to maintain brand reputation and seller performance.  Growth & Optimization  Collaborate with the Director of Amazon to develop seasonal strategies for product launches and promotions.  Partner with marketing to align content, imagery, and brand messaging for each holiday campaign.  Leverage data and insights to identify opportunities for sales growth, conversion improvement, and efficiency gains.  Support the optimization of Amazon PPC campaigns by providing keyword and product performance insights.  What you bring to the table:  8+ years of experience in e-commerce or omni-channel retail  3+ years of experience managing or directly supporting a third-party Amazon Seller Central account Demonstrated success managing listings, inventory, and performance metrics on Amazon Strong understanding of seasonal inventory planning and the unique challenges of time-sensitive sales cycles Intermediate skills in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis, forecasting, and reporting Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities during peak season Detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with a strong sense of ownership Entrepreneurial mindset with a roll-up-your-sleeves approach Preferred: Familiarity with the ecommerce sales funnel and tactics to drive sales conversion  Experience managing seasonal or holiday-based product lines Familiarity with Amazon advertising tools (PPC, DSP) and analytics platforms (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, etc.) Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or related field Experience working in consumer goods or e-commerce environments with fluctuating seasonal demand About Us: Balsam Brands is a global, omnichannel retailer with roots in holiday and home décor.
