This means conducting business with integrity, accountability, and professionalism while supporting our global community.As an Advanced Process and Structure Modeling Engineer, you will support materials, process, and structure modeling projects within technology development organization at Micron Technology Inc. You will interface with process engineering and process integration teams and contribute to application and development of modeling methods to understand, simulate, analyze, and resolve complex process/structure challenges for accelerated technology development cycles. You will guide and support critical projects through enabling informed decisions on materials and process selection along with estimating correlations across processing parameters and structures. You must have strong knowledge and proven background in process data modeling and analytics.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

3D modeling of process flows across DRAM, NAND, and EM technologies

Collect inline data from metrology and RDA tools

Pull data from process tools, PROBE, and PARAM sources

Work with process teams to design virtual and on silicon DOEs

Work with metrology and RDA to devise new methods

Perform process margin analysis and variation studies

Support development of portable 3D structural models with improved meshing algorithms

Contribute to development of standalone applications for large-scale geometry construction and visualization

Clear documentation and dissemination of technical findings, model predictions, and solution recommendations

Contribute to development of predictive process and structure DOE models using statistical and machine learning techniques

Clearly communicate technical information in verbal and written forms to various stakeholders

Develop models and perform simulations to recommend improvement to materials and processes

Coordinate collection of information on process, metrology, RDA, masks, and materials characterization

Work with process development groups to design novel chemistries or processes for deposition and etching

Qualifications:

Knowledge of chemistry, physics, and mechanics

Knowledge of semiconductor processes

Proficiency in designing DOE and collecting data for further modeling and data analytics

Experience with process development or integration

Strong knowledge of numerical methods, PYTHON/Perl/Tcl/Tk scripting languages, MATLAB, and Linux operating systems on multicore multimode architectures and GPUs

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to operate independently in a highly interdisciplinary fast-paced dynamic environment

Education:

A PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related discipline.
