Thorough understanding of paint preparation procedures
· Bodywork to blend small imperfections in composites and sheet metal
· Surface prep and bodywork parts to be primed
· Read customer paint layout requests
· Locate, apply, and paint stencils and decals according to the drawings
· Aircraft painter should also have knowledge and experience in applying paint, epoxy, and other materials to the aircraft
· Have knowledge of various techniques used to ensure that paint finish and adhesion is adequate
· Perform quality repairs at all times and notify management of any substandard processes, parts, or procedures
· Repair body using appropriate tools
· Inspect parts for damage and quality/accuracy
· Operate a variety of hand and power tools (blocks, hammers, screw drivers, wrenches, sander, spray guns etc.)
· Keep work area clean and well organized
Skill/Requirements:
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Must have a valid driver’s license
· Previous experience
· Ability to effectively communicate
· Multi-tasking; adapts easily to fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements for Work:
Applicant will be working in a shop environment. Activity such as kneeling, bending, squatting, as well as lifting and carrying objects over 50 pounds is a part of daily activity. Working environment consists of; exposure to fumes, chemicals and dust, along with high levels of noise.
Our ideal employee will have great attention to detail, is highly motivated, willing to learn, has experience painting. We are looking for an individual who has previous experience in any transferable craftsmanship (automotive, metal fabrication, construction, etc.).

Salary: $10.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
