OverviewSt. Luke’s Health System in Boise, ID is seeking an Application Analyst to join our Pharmacy team.What You Can Expect:
Serve as an applications analyst working with multiple pharmacy applications.
Collaborate with nursing, pharmacy and anesthesia staff to understand their workflow and identify areas where application improvements can be made, gathering detailed requirements for new features or system updates.
Configure pharmacy applications to align with specific workflows and regulations, including customizing user access levels, setting up drug databases, and defining alerts and notifications.
Identify and resolve issues users encounter with pharmacy applications, providing timely technical support and troubleshooting guidance.
Monitor system performance and generate reports to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for optimization within the pharmacy applications.
Under minimal supervision, the Application Analyst analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems and devices to process data.
Manage manual adjustments for factors affecting our Omnicell systems, distribution, and patient safety.
Analyzes and modifies data systems.
Resolves system related problems through appropriate research methods and communication with user department personnel and vendor personnel.
Analyzes reports in relation to system capabilities
Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submits recommendations for solution.
Prepares detailed program specifications and requirements, identifies required inputs, participates in the design, development, and testing of systems.
Follows department procedures relative to request tracking, documentation and change control.
Oversees and implements sound system or device testing strategies; oversees the implementation of required hardware and software components for approved applications.
Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group; may act as a lead or first-level supervisor.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree
Experience: 4 years relevant experience
