Job Description

As a Data Labs Analyst, you will become the data expert for our sales and customer data. You’ll get to work with a team of data analysts gathering data from different sources and building out cohesive story-driven dashboards for a wide range of teams within Balsam. You will own additional ad-hoc analysis on customer, inventory, and sales related investigations.

Our ideal candidate enjoys working cross-functionally with a variety of teams and has a passion for storytelling using data. You’ll be successful if you are hungry to learn and enjoy creative problem solving!

The Data Labs Analyst will report to our Data Labs Manager.

What you’ll do:

• Gather and maintain data sets from Catalog and Email teams, as well as third party vendors for operational success and internal analysis
• Build and deploy dashboards and visualizations through Microsoft Power BI for the Catalog and Email teams
• Analyze and find key insights on email and catalog campaigns
• Report regularly on KPIs and other metrics
• Maintain documentation on catalog and email data within Confluence

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business or Marketing, or equivalent work experience
• Genuine enthusiasm to work with and analyze data
• Hunger to constantly learn and self-teach
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, both in writing and verbally
• Strong prioritization skills and ability to move multiple projects forward simultaneously
• Experience in Microsoft Power BI or Tableau is a plus
• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server is a plus
