This means conducting business with integrity, accountability, and professionalism while supporting our global community.The Managed NAND Competitive Analysis team is part of the Advanced Development group in the Non-Volatile Engineering organization of Micron. Our focus is to lead change and set new technology targets for Micron products in the mobile market by comparing key metrics across all manufacturers of UFS and eMMC storage devices. We are comprised of members around the globe; Vimercate, Italy – Hyderabad, India – Boise, Idaho. Our secondary initiative is to support the System Architecture team in running proof-of-concept experiments for groundbreaking products. Our team has built many internally designed hardware, software, and process solutions to enable a custom analysis of competitor platforms and devices. Managed NAND Competitive Analysis engineers are dedicated, uncommonly best, and creative, people that continually push the limits of what has been done before.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Collaborating with the MBU/EBU and our Ecosystem team to analyze the market and resolve our competitors' parts per project
Acquire and maintain an inventory of competitor parts
Identify and acquire the latest test platforms and benchmarking tools
Analyze and identify the key strengths of our competitors' devices (performance, latency, power, cost, internal architecture)
Coordinate the physical tear-down and analysis of the competitors' devices
Craft and lead data storage and reporting infrastructure for data captured
Contribute to Micron’s competitive intelligence effort
Support the System Architecture team in conducting different experiments and analysis
Collaborate MBU/EBU requirements team
Identify and build ad-hoc equipment and flow solutions to enable strategic CA tests and MNAND architectural analysis
Minimum Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with an expected graduation date of December 2020 or later
A dedicated keen understanding of failure and reverse engineering analysis and systems-level debug
Deep understanding of how to effectively track, document, and communicate testing and project status
Constructing different views and charts of data results
Ability to build positive relationships with multiple teams
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
