Fixing, maintaining and qualifying repairs of assigned tool set(s)

Collecting, analyzing, and reporting tool data

Driving supplier accountability to drive low cost-of-ownership and best in class performance

Making recommendations based on the data, repairing, modifying and crafting improvements to tools, and coordinating work on the tools with management, process owners and tool vendors

Detailing procedures and other relevant information (excursions, upgrades, etc.)

Training team members

Operating tools and supporting production

Improving tool uptime, decreasing tool repair time, and advancing tool technology

Equipment Engineers are required to support mask production in any means vital to achieve Fab goals. Overtime may be necessary for training, meetings, and supporting the Fab needs, you must be willing to work a flexible schedule as the need arises. You will function as an overall resource for issues involving MTC equipment.Qualifications:Successful candidates for this position will have:

Experience in solving and repair of electrical, chemical, mechanical, optical, and software/firmware designs and architectures for high end semiconductor manufacturing tools

Strong working knowledge and solving of vacuum and RF systems

Experience with robotics and automation systems

Working knowledge of laser and optical systems is a plus

Experience in coordination of facility related issues and tool installations

Experience in new tool evaluations, tool design, modifications and system level engineering is a plus

The ability to manage projects through to completion

Strong team-building skills, specifically the ability to lead and manage through influence without direct authority

A high level of organizations skills

Adept at procedural development for maintenance/error recovery documents and training others on those procedures

A high level of motivation, self-directed and goal-oriented

Proficient with data analysis tools such as python, JMP, Excel, and SQL

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, documentation, leadership, problem solving skills, and the ability to work in a team environment

Minimum 3 years of Fab or Mask experience in a Class 1 or 10 cleanroom.

Proficient in the use of PC hardware/software including:

Microsoft Office applications: Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point.

Other software applications such as MTSPC, ETI applications, EPD and Sharepoint,

Education:AAS-electronics and at least 5 years of relevant semiconductor or photo mask processing equipment experience, BSEE or BSME with at least 3 years of relevant semiconductor or photo mask processing equipment experience.As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
