This position offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse tax-related functions, including income tax compliance, global income tax accounting, and more. This is an exciting chance to grow your career and leave a lasting impact on the direction and success of our global tax operations.As a Senior Global Tax Analyst, You Will:

Global Tax Compliance & Reporting:

Review and filing of externally prepared partnership and corporate income tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

Collaborate with our external tax preparers on the calculations of book to tax differences.

Assist in preparing the quarterly partnership tax distribution calculations.

Tax Provision & Financial Statement Reporting:

Prepare the U.S. GAAP annual and quarterly global tax provision.

Handle general ledger account reconciliations and tax-related journal entries.

Assist with external financial statement audits by providing necessary documentation for inquiries from auditors.

Prepare tax footnotes for financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Audit & Research:

Facilitate federal, state and certain foreign income tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.

Conduct tax research and document conclusions to support tax positions.

Internal Controls & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures, and that all tax-related processes are well-documented.

Help maintain and update centralized global tax calendars, ensuring all filing deadlines and payments are met.

Cross-Department Collaboration & Support:

Work closely with external tax service providers and internal departments to ensure efficient tax filings and reporting.

Process Improvement & Special Projects:

Assist with implementation of tax technology strategy

Drive continuous improvement in tax accounting and compliance processes with emphasis on leveraging technology

Participate in special projects as assigned and help refine tax processes and controls for greater efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax accounting (ASC 740) and tax compliance (or a related area), including preparation and/or review of tax filings and U.S. GAAP income tax provisions.

Experience with ASC 740, federal and state tax, and general tax research.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.

High attention to detail and the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

A desire to learn and understand the value of leveraging technology to drive greater efficiency, improve tax processes and manage risk.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Familiarity with tax technology systems, preferably OneSource.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ASC 740 and provision to return reconciliation.

Knowledge of multi-national tax implications as they relate to US taxation and tax accounting.

Familiarity with Oracle, HFM, Power BI, Alteryx and other related programs

Big 4 public accounting and/or multinational organization experience a plus.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process.
