This means conducting business with integrity, accountability, and professionalism while supporting our global community.As a senior program manager lead at Micron Technology you will be responsible for managing Micron project managers, contracted project managers, and various global third parties. You will lead the overall program development for Micron IT on a global level related to Workplace IT and the overall employee collaboration ecosystem. This will include publishing weekly, monthly, quarterly and adhoc communications; handling metrics production; and coordinating the overall Workplace IT engagement model and organization meeting cadence. You have a deep understanding of the business and technology domains in this ecosystem. You are able to handle constant ambiguity and influence the realignment and balancing of business priorities, resources and project managers to ensure successful service delivery execution and outcomes. You will work across geographies, teams, and enterprise groups to manage multiple agendas to create one cohesive strategy, program plan, and various project plans based on the approved plan of record (POR) process within Micron IT. You will be working with all levels of resources from various organizations, external and internal to Micron. Partnership with I&O leadership and the Workplace IT Director is critical.This role will be at the forefront of driving cultural change and proficiency using change management principles and established project management methodologies throughout a global organization. You will work with the various business units and IT organizations to ensure the right service delivery expectations are set along with clearly defined scope, schedule, and budget to successfully achieve the critical timeframes and benefits for these types of projects.You will lead assigned project managers in creating robust project plans and conducting project reviews to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget. This position will work with global team members to help maintain service roadmaps and lead service budget and project forecasting at a department and strategic level as required to develop a sustainable Plan of Record (POR). You will also meet with Micron’s business units, as required, to ensure solutions meet or exceed business and service requirements.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Organize and coordinate the overall workplace IT ecosystem service delivery and services to ensure effective and efficient service delivery on a global basis. The key is to work towards one common experience for our global team members that is consistent, seamless, and easy to use.

The responsibilities will include but are not limited to: creating individual project plans, planning & resource management, conducting service kickoff meetings; defining service scope; facilitating technical, operational and/or business requirements, definition for service development tasks; developing detailed baseline service plans; driving/managing/tracking service delivery through each phase of a delivery lifecycle.

Providing leadership to cross-function project teams, and maintaining service documentation as required. Project management that may involve developing processes and plans as required. Coordinate strategic business initiatives and guide to completion as required.

Assist in creating an overall workplace communications strategy to include service and project updates, operational updates, and how to effectively measure employee feedback with regards to service usability. Including the development and delivery of dashboards and weekly organizational updates to showcase executive status of the workplace IT domain and POR.

Build strong and strategic relationships with employees and look after their progress, noting any strategic issues or successes.

Help coordinate business wide procedures and work to improve existing processes for maximum clarity, efficiency and success.

Communicates job expectations to direct staff, including but not limited to planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; mentoring, coaching, counseling, and providing corrective feedback to employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards as well as leading compensation activities per company policy.

Publishing weekly, monthly, quarterly and adhoc communications.

Leading metrics production.

Coordinating the overall Workplace IT engagement model and organization meeting cadence.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Information Technology or related discipline (Computer Science, Software Engineering) and 10 years related work experience as a senior program manager, PMO manager, or chief of staff in a global fortune 500 company.

A PMP or equivalent project management certification and has excellent knowledge of working in an agile environment. Agile scrum master certification is a significant plus.

Solid familiarity with project management software tools; project management techniques; service management & development lifecycle in an ITIL based environment.

Experience with implementing global services, projects and programs across multiple geographies to create one global end user experience and a unified global support model.

Extraordinary attention to track details, hold organizational resources accountable, think independently and have strong analytical skills.

Mentor and coach project managers and remove roadblocks for the project managers reporting to you to ensure they deliver quality results and services.

Preferred Skills:

Master's degree in a Business, Information Technology or related discipline (Computer Science, Software Engineering).

Superb communication skills (verbal and written) as well as solid presentation skills in different formats and with a variety of audiences. A positive attitude with an ambitious, go-getter drive.

Great interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate productive teamwork on a global level and across varying departments, both internal and external to Micron.

Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and lead multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a detail oriented and data driven approach.

Ability to negotiate priorities across global organizations and deliver across multiple projects as required. Ability to plan and prioritize numerous tasks effectively demonstrating impeccable time management and multi-tasking skills.

Ability to independently drive a cohesive program through multiple independent projects and objectives through to completion and benefits realization. Highly experienced with project coordinating and management.

Ambitious, self-sufficient, creative thinker with strong business acuity and can analyze and compile large swaths of data and communicate effective trends and outcomes.
