Sr. Software engineer

The Sr Software Engineer serves as a full stack engineer focused on our suite of SaaS healthcare web applications and services. As part of a collaborative, motivated Agile-based team, the Sr Software Engineer is responsible for all facets of development, at both the database level and the application code level, applying and maintaining quality standards and developing and executing test plans and procedures.Responsibilities

Be responsible for designing and developing software solutions with engineering mindset, SOLID principles and design patterns.

Participate in and/or lead technical development design sessions to formulate technical designs that minimize maintenance, maximize code reuse and minimize testing time

Communicate effectively with product management, business stakeholders and architecture leadership to understand requirements and help shape, estimate and plan product roadmaps.

Develop code according to business and technical specifications, create test data, perform unit/integration testing and collaborate with team to ensure functionality meets client expectations

Directly contributes to the test-driven development of product features and functionality, identifying risks and authoring integration tests.

Evaluate, understand and recommends new technology, languages or development practices that have benefits for implementing.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related technical field; or equivalent experience.

6+ years of experience building highly scalable, available web-based applications and services.

Experience in building web applications: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, ASP.NET, AJAX

Experience in building services: C#, SQL, .NET/Core, WebAPI, Swagger, JSON, REST, SQL

Hands on Experience in Ruby on Rails and Postgress SQL is a plus

Robust knowledge in software design principles - OOPs, CI/CD, SOLID principles, design patterns, and domain-driven design (DDD)

Proficiency in using code analysis, code coverage, and code quality tools to measure and improve the testability and quality of your code.

Strong communication skills, with proven ability to present complex ideas and to document concisely.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge and experience with automated test tools and techniques including test-driven development, and automated acceptance testing.

Experience with Cloud providers and services such as Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure.

Experience with microservices architectures and containerization using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Service Fabric.

Knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle, EMRs, practice management systems.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $63,140.06 - $143,517.00 per year .
