DescriptionThe Idaho State Tax Commission is recruiting for a Technical Records Specialist 2 in the Collections' Central Office BureauThis position provides a variety of records support functions; reviews and processes documents; determines and explains compliance with laws, rules, regulations and policies and takes appropriate action; maintains a manual or computerized records system; performs related work.OUR VISION: Great people. Monitor a records system to identify and correct errors, research a variety of sources to resolve problems

Interpret, explain, and apply regulations, laws, or complex policies to carry out assignments

Enter and retrieve data using a computerized records system

Use of judgment in determining an appropriate course of action

Review and process information in regard to the temporary permits system

Take and disseminate meeting minutes

Maintain and update bureau procedure and information books

Develop, communicate, and implement plans, policies and procedures which effectively use available resources and equitably serve the public

Minimum QualificationsExperience monitoring record systems to identify and correct errors

Experience interpreting, explaining, and applying laws, regulations, and complex policies for multiple or highly specialized programs

Experience analyzing information and researching a variety of sources to identify and resolve problems or issues

Experience dealing with individuals from varying cultural and socio-economic backgrounds in stressful situations

Experience entering and retrieving data using a computerized record system

Experience composing and prooing business correspondence
