AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Generally be available for in-person work for four - five days per week, Tuesday through Sunday. Wednesday and Friday are particularly important days for availability.
Have some availability for remote work such as answering phone calls or text messages as needed. For example, a bartender may text you late at night to say the ice machine is leaking, and you will need to call the ice machine leasing company the next morning to arrange a service call. This type of work does not necessarily mean you need to go in person to complete your work, and you will be compensated for this type of work when off-site.
Scheduling can be flexible and there is the ability to choose your shifts as a bartender vs. your working hours as an operations lead.
In general, most work should be completed in person inside Gas Lantern.
RATE OF PAY
The lead bartender pay rate will start at $10/hour + tips. In general, bartenders earn $12-25 per hour in tips over a given payroll period for a blended rate of $22-35/hour. This figure does not include cash tips. The operations manager pay rate will start at a higher rate than the lead bartender rate.
