Duties
-Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring dishes are prepared to our high quality standards of taste and presentation.
-Help develop and design innovative menus.
-Manage kitchen staff, providing training, supervision, and support to ensure efficient operations.
-Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
-Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and kitchen operations.
-Continuously evaluate kitchen processes for improvements in efficiency and quality.
Skills
-Strong expertise in food preparation techniques.
-International and regional ingredient and dish knowledge.
-Proven experience in team management within a restaurant environment.
-Knowledge of food management practices including inventory control and cost management.
-Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
