Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for Japanese cuisine, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. As a Lead Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality dishes and maintaining a positive kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Japanese-inspired dishes, including sushi and hand rolls, to the highest quality standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development, bringing innovative ideas to the table.
- Ensure that all food is prepared consistently and according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Lead and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor food costs.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook, preferably with expertise in Japanese cuisine.

- Flexible availability, primarily for night shifts.
