Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Line Cook to join our food truck team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mobile kitchen environment and is passionate about preparing high-quality, flavorful Hawaiian food. You’ll be a key part of delivering consistent, memorable meals while embracing the energy and flow of food truck operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items to order, following standardized recipes and quality expectations
Ensure proper food handling, storage, labeling, and rotation according to food safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food truck’s kitchen area
Assist with prep work, restocking, and setup/breakdown of the truck for service
Operate in a fast-paced setting during high-volume service periods
Communicate and coordinate effectively with the food truck team to ensure smooth service
Represent the brand with professionalism, positive energy, and aloha
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of line cook experience required, preferably in a food truck or mobile kitchen
Solid understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation practices
Must be able to work in a compact, high-heat environment and adapt to changing conditions
Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in all weather conditions
Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and special events
Familiarity with Hawaiian cuisine is a plus
