I’m a positive, easy-going person (male) who uses a wheelchair and lives independently in downtown Boise. I love movies, binge-watching series, cooking/great food, live performances, reading and listening to audiobooks, board as well as a few video games, and good conversation. I believe life’s meant to be lived fully and with inclusively of all.
I’m looking for a reliable, open-minded person to help with basic activities of daily living and occasionally accompanying me on errands or fun community outings.
One ongoing weekly shift is available, and I’m also seeking temporary coverage while one of my caregivers takes a well-deserved 15-day vacation in December. If you can do both, great — if only one, that’s perfectly fine too!
Details:
Pay: $17/hour
Training: Paid, on-the-job training provided.
Requirements: State of Idaho background check & fingerprinting (I’ll guide you through the simple process if you don’t already have them)
Physical Demands: No heavy lifting required.
Available Shifts:
Ongoing: Sunday evenings, 6:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. (With occasional opportunities to cover other shifts as needed if you’d like extra hours)
Holiday Coverage:
December 18–19, 22–26, and 29 – January 2 in the mornings 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
