We are seeking a compassionate and reliable in-home caregiver for an 82-year-old male with Alzheimer’s disease. His condition is progressing to the point where his wife is no longer able to care for him alone.
Details:
Location: Boise, Idaho (83704) – in a beautiful, safe home
Hours: Flexible – willing to discuss part-time or full-time based on availability
Compensation: Competitive; willing to discuss experience and qualifications
Household: One friendly toy Schnauzer (small dog)
Responsibilities may include:
Providing companionship and supervision
Assisting with daily activities (meals, mobility, hygiene, etc.)
Light housekeeping or household support as needed
Offering respite care so his wife can attend appointments and rest
Requirements:
Prior caregiving experience (Alzheimer’s/dementia preferred)
Patience, reliability, and compassion
Comfort with pets (small dog in the home)
References required
