208 Home Care is seeking a reliable part-time caregiver for a 30-year-old female paraplegic client. The position is part-time, with flexible hours, working approximately 10-12 hours per week. The client has requested a female caregiver.
Schedule: Mondays & Thursdays, 9 AM – 3 PM (flexible)
Location: Just off W Chaparral Rd by the Emmett Hwy
Responsibilities:
Assistance with personal care (dressing, showering, hygiene)
Assistance with transferring from bed to wheelchair (Client has a hoyer lift-the office will provide training)
Light housekeeping/laundry
Meal preparation
The client’s mother also resides in the home and would be available if you needed anything.
Requirements
Must be 18 years old or older
Applicant for this client must be female (male applicants can still apply to work with other clients)
Must have a valid form of government-issued Identification and proof of Employment Authorization to work in the United States.
Must complete the training required by Medicaid prior to starting direct care (exempt with active CNA/LPN/RN License)
Must be able to pass a background check through the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare
Must be able to follow HIPAA guidelines, document accurately, and communicate effectively with your clients and with the office
