Job description:
Gem State Wellness is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. This includes LMFT, LCSW, LPC, and LCPC. Interns, and LMSW's need not apply. Ideal candidate has hours that accommodate some evenings and/or weekends and enjoys working with minors
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual therapy sessions
- Provide counseling services in both in-person and remote settings, ensuring flexibility to meet the needs of clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
- Willingness to work afternoon and evening hours to accommodate the schedules of children and teens.
- Work towards and maintain a caseload of 23 clients to qualify for health insurance benefits.
- Create a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore and address their mental health concerns.
- Enjoy the convenience and autonomy of a private office
- We do fill caseloads quickly! Once hired, we usually have a start date a few weeks later to get you paneled on our insurance contracts. During this time we will start to fill your caseload so you hit the ground running
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling or a related field.
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Idaho (LPC, LCPC, LMFT, LCSW)
- Experience working with children and teens is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both in-person and remotely as needed.
- Flexibility to accommodate afternoon and evening appointments. Weekends work too!
- Commitment to ethical and professional standards in counseling.
