Job Description:

As a Janitorial Manager at Night Owl Janitorial, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our cleaning operations across various buildings. Your responsibilities will extend from managing and scheduling our hardworking team of cleaners to ensuring our janitorial closets are well-maintained and stocked. We're looking for someone who is not just a leader but also a team player who can embody and foster the Night Owl culture in every task and interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Schedule Management: Efficiently manage the scheduling of team members to ensure all cleaning duties are covered.

Training: Conduct thorough training for new team members, ensuring all procedures are understood and followed. Maintain and update training documents and team member records accurately.

Quality Assurance: Lead by example in following Night Owl Janitorial procedures for cleaning, setting a high standard for the team.

Inventory Management: Keep janitorial closets organized and fully stocked. Regularly check equipment and ensure timely replacement as needed.

Culture Building: Foster a positive and inclusive culture within the team and the buildings we service, ensuring Night Owl's values are represented.

Team Building & Concerns: Address and resolve concerns from both team members and clients, ensuring a harmonious work environment.

Coordination with Office Team: Liaise with the Night Owl office team for building needs, supply documentation, and coordination.

Complaint Management: Promptly report and document any complaints, collaborating with the office team for resolution.

Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience in janitorial management or a similar role.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Ability to train, motivate, and maintain a positive team environment.

Flexibility to work night shifts, as we honor our nocturnal namesake.

The want and desire to take ownership of what you do and manage.

The ability to cover work any day of the week.
