Koala Coatings is seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Coatings Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying various concrete coatings and surface preparation techniques to ensure high-quality finishes for our clients. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare concrete surfaces for coating applications, including cleaning, grinding, and repairing cracks.
Mix and apply a variety of concrete coatings, such as epoxy, polyurethane, and acrylic, according to manufacturer specifications.
Ensure proper application techniques to achieve a smooth, durable, and aesthetically pleasing finish.
Operate and maintain coating application equipment, including sprayers, rollers, and hand tools.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized worksite.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project specifications and deadlines are met.
Perform quality control checks to ensure coatings adhere properly and meet the company’s standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship experience is a plus.
Knowledge of different types of concrete coatings and their applications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
