Job Description

Concrete laborers will complete a number of tasks on a routine day. Everything from ground prep work to helping form setters install forms, to assisting on the pour by raking wet concrete. Laborers will also tie rebar, strip forms once the concrete has set, pack materials to and from staging areas or trucks etc. Laborers will need to have better than average physical endurance and the ability to work in all outside work conditions common to southern Idaho. Working with this particular client will provide an excellent opportunity to learn about the trade and the many different variations of how concrete is used.

Requirements

Ability to lift 50-75 lbs unassisted routinely throughout the work day

Ability to work in outside weather conditions

Excellent physical stamina and recent work history performing physically active role for work

Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background investigation

Your own vehicle to get to and from work each day – worksites are scattered around the Treasure Valley

Desire 30-40 hours a week

Details

Variable early morning start times are common, starting early and getting off before it gets too hot outside is normal this time of year

Weekly payroll schedule, every Friday for last week’s hours

Temp-to-hire opportunity

Starting pay rate: $18.00 - $22.00/hr DOE (experienced candidates encouraged to apply)
