Gardening Crew Members
We are a specialty gardening company focusing on seasonal color displays, as well as the planting and care of perennial gardens. Seeking hard working Horticulturists to join our team to plant and maintain custom container plantings along with regular garden maintenance duties. Full or Part Time Available
Qualifications:
- Willing to Work: Physically fit and able to work a full day outside in a variety of weather conditions, Able to lift tarps, soil bags and wheel barrow soil.
- Willing to Learn: Basic gardening and planting knowledge required. Also past experience planting and maintaining container plantings is a plus. We will teach our methods.
- Clean and current drivers license, reliable transportation required
- Ability to work with others as a team to achieve daily work goals
- Attention to detail and ability to take instruction is a must.
- Must be able and willing to drive company vehicle, load and take plants and supplies to the jobs each day and unload plants and supplies at the end of the day.
Job Duties include:
- Weeding, deadheading, edging of beds, pruning and other routine garden maintenance
- Planting of flowers and perennial plants in Containers and in the ground
- Fertilizing, Watering, Checking Irrigation for all containers on a daily basis
- General Debris cleanup of garden beds
