HORSE RANCH ON LARGE ACREAGE SEEKS A RELIABLE, RUGGED, GOOD HEARTED, AND ABLE BODIED RANCH HAND TO ASSIST IN HORSE CARETAKING ON A PART TIME CONSISTENT BASIS
Seeking Ranch Hand / HORSE CARETAKER:
(AM shift (8 AM) and / or PM (6pm) :
- Feeding
-cleaning stalls/ paddocks
-maintaining water troughs
- keeping pellet and grain bins keeping filled
PART TIME 2 -6 times per week, weekend or weekday TBD.
We are seeking a reliable person that can get to us no problem ; a good confident worker and experience interacting with differnt kinds of horses a BIG PLUS .Looking for a good natured, easy going, hard working person, that we can communicate well with us and wants to learn and grow.
If you have other VALUABLE skills, we may have extra work you can help with :
-irrigation/ farming/ pasture management (we also farm Timothy and alfalfa hay)
-mechanical experience for light ranch vehicle maintenance
- plumbing / electrical experience
-Tractor, excavator, backhoe, 4 heeler and/or dump truck experience
-Horse hauling
-Construction/ carpentry
-Fence repair
-Welding experience
- Colt starting/ animal husbandry/ equine medical care
