We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Help to join our diesel mechanic shop. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks related to construction, painting, and contractor work. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our move and setup to a new shop.
Responsibilities
Assist in using various hand tools and power tools.
Support mechanics in setting up a diesel shop.
Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to move materials within the property.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area to ensure a safe working environment.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues to supervisors.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on the property.
Help in constructing walls, painting, and heavy lifting.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a construction or shop environment is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks within the shop environment.
