Overview:
Drill Pro Inc. is a Custom Machine Shop and Fabrication Company that specializes in manufacturing mining products and supplies.
Job Position: CNC Machinist
Required hours/days of work: Mon-Fri 7:00am – 3:30pm
Duties will include:
Adhere to Drill Pro safety policy and procedures by actively supporting and keeping the integrity of a safe compliant environment per OSHA standards.
Have the ability to set up CNC Mills (HAAS & METHOD) and CNC lathes (GANESH), adjusting chucks, tools, attachments, collets, indicating vices, etc.
Ability to read and write basic G & M Codes for lathe and mills.
Ability to accurately adjust machines to produce parts to specification by observing cutting operations, including turning, facing, and thread operations.
Maintain machines and equipment by completing inspections, preventive maintenance requirements and troubleshooting repairs per the manufacturer’s instructions and/or your supervisor.
Maintain clean work area.
Able to operate forklifts.
Complete daily production and travelers.
Submit equipment repair ticket and supply needs.
Communicate with supervisor.
Use overhead cranes to load and unload large parts.
Able to diagnose and resolve issues that arise during machine operation, such as tool breakage or program errors.
Minimum Requirements:
Enthusiastic Self Starter
Familiar with Fanuc Controls
Read and interpret Blueprints
Proficiency with Measuring Tools
Take directions from supervisor
Detail oriented with good judgment
Operate Manual and/or CNC equipment as needed
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
Ability to operate forklifts
Having good mathematical skills
Certification is a plus but not a must
