CNC ROUTER PROGRAMMER/OPERATOR
Local manufacturer of custom plastic fabricated equipment is seeking an experienced CNC router programmer/operator for a full-time position.
JOB DESCRIPTION: This position will run parts on MultiCam CNC routers with the possibility of other CNC equipment as well as manual laths and mills. Will also help to plan, develop and program sequence of operations. This includes document setup, including tooling and process parameters to ensure that parts meet the customer’s requirements and specifications. This position will also assist other departments of the company, which may include preparing parts for fabrication, assembling products, constructing shipping crates, and packaging parts for shipment. We will also teach you how to program the machine.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This is a physical job which involves some heavy lifting.
EXPERIENCE: Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience operating a CNC router or equivalent education through a vocational school preferably using MasterCAM. Other CAM software experience will not be excluded.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to read blueprints; knowledge of the use of precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc. Must have clear and positive communication skills, be detail oriented and get along well with others. Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol screening.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS PACKAGE:
$20.50/hr. + (depending on experience)
