Position Overview
Prodigee Logistics is looking for a part-time Office Administrator to join our team at our Boise (Garden City), ID office. This position is Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule totaling 20 hours per week. The role is ideal for a college student or someone seeking hands-on experience in business administration and logistics. The Office Administrator will assist with various administrative tasks, including pulling reports, managing accounts receivable, and supporting general office operations. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are essential, as the position reports directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management: Pull and organize reports for internal use, including freight-related data and performance metrics.
Accounts Receivable: Assist with invoicing, follow up on outstanding payments, and track account balances.
Administrative Support: Perform general office duties such as filing, document management, and organizing correspondence.
Reporting: Compile and prepare weekly/monthly reports for management and ensure data accuracy.
Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries, requiring excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Handle administrative issues as they arise, using independent judgment and strong problem-solving skills to find solutions.
Ad-Hoc Tasks: Provide support with various other office duties as needed.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
Currently enrolled in or pursuing higher education (preferably in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field).
Experience: Prior experience with office administration or in a business environment is a plus.
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
