The Deli Shift Lead FOH is responsible for training, monitoring, coaching and managing all aspects of front-of-house (FOH) Deli.

Provide consistently positive customer engagement and communication.

Uphold and enforce high levels of food safety standards and practices.

Model respectful communication with team regarding production needs in a timely manner.

Ensure the preparation of assigned foods are according to the approved recipes and are made in an efficient manner.

Assign & check for the accurate completion of the packaging, dating & labeling of products in the correct containers.

Coach and train staff in a variety of different tasks and procedures as often as possible.

Monitor the cleanliness of assigned stations throughout the day for food safety and ensuring the floors are free from debris.

Assign and fill in on the sales floor to ensure we are 100% in-stock using proper food rotation standards.

Safely and effectively use small and large kitchen equipment including ovens, stove, tilt skillet, immersion blenders, food processors, mixers and other kitchen equipment.

Ensure proper rotation practices are being followed.

Daily communication via Microsoft Teams and email including coaching opportunities, daily notes, or other important notes.
