Business Development Representative - Industrial Vegetation Management
This position has been created to acquire new sales and service existing clients.
We are an established and stable company with years of experience covering multiple geographic regions.
Target customers include, municipalities, transportation departments, airports, renewable energy sites, commercial distribution warehouse centers, railroads, electric co-ops and other utility companies.
This job will involve travel 50%-75%, mainly by vehicle (company provided) and within targeted territories.

Missouri, Kansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas
Idaho, Montana, Wyoming
Compensation will be based on your experience. There will be a base salary and a potential commission structure.
Sample range is $48,000-$65,000+
Primary Responsibilities:
Follow company policies and procedures
Ability to work safely and always use PPE
Ability to work and be productive alone while also being able to work as part of a team and provide guidance to others as needed
Communicate with current customers and potential new customers to understand their needs and inform them of our services.
Keep accurate, organized records, supporting documentation
Submit timely reports to the office, which will include status, expense, and others
Work with Business Development team for marketing purposes, lead generation, proposal preparation and submittal assistance
Operate company vehicle safely, responsibly, and clean
Utilize a variety of sales techniques including cold calls, face to face, conferences/trade shows, telephone, email and other
Take measurements, photos and make detailed notes
Work with field operations teams to identify hazards and potential challenges
Explore and develop subcontracting opportunities
Look for value added opportunities
Meet sales objectives, develop plans and goals
Stay current with product knowledge, equipment, and licensing and look for industry trends and new technology.
Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Experience/Skills:
Valid DL with good driving record
Organizational skills
Must have the ability and willingness to travel
Industry related experience (landscape, IVM, weed control, agriculture, lawn or tree care) is preferred but not necessary.
Sales experience is helpful but not required, but you must have a willingness to be trained and the skills to learn and do this job.
