TransQuip, LLC is located in Emmett - Manufacturing heavy equipment trailers for VersaMax the NEW TrailMax!

Located at the old Emmett, ID mill site, our location is a short drive from most anywhere in the Treasure Valley: including Caldwell, Middleton, Star, New Plymouth, Payette, Horseshoe Bend.

We are looking for highly motivated and skilled individuals who want to work close to home and grow with the company.

Looking to hire a full time dependable Automotive Painter and Assembler.

In addition we are hiring for positions including Welders, Fabricators and Shop Personnel.

Job Responsibilities: Painter

Responsible for overall aethetics of paint and stickers.

Operates and uses all body shop equipment properly and safely.

Clean and Prep paint booth before and after painting to ensure clean ork area.

Apply vinyl pinstriping and various decals

Removes rust from metal, and grease and dirt from work surface.

Masks and protects parts that are not to be painted or coated.

Inspect Metal surfaces for metal burs, sharp edges or any imperfections and remedy approproately.

Mixes paint according to specifications.

Paints surface using sprayer or brush as appropriate.

Inspects painted units for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, sags and unpainted areas.

Apply Heat onto products after they are Painted.

Maintains tools and keeps equipment clean and in a proper state of repair.

Keeps work area clean.

Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of Trailers.

Other tasks as assigned.

Job Responsibilities: Finisher / Assembly

Responsible for the final assembly of trailer once painted.

Installing air brakes and components per DOT Standards.

Installing lights and various electrical components.

Measure and cut to length Apitong & Douglas Fir Boards to length and install.

Install axles on trailer subframe.

Able to operate a forklift to accomodate various material handeling tasks

Available for various task to assist in the final assembly of a trailer.

Education, experience and skills required:

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience in steel fabrication and or welding.

Must follow written and verbal details to complete assignments.

Must be able to do shop math proficiently.

Able to troubleshoot and solve problems.

Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable and outstanding organizational skills.

Painters are required to maintain a clean, safe, and friendly work environment.

Physical Capabilities and Requirements:

Must be in good physical condition and able to lift 50-75 lbs.

Able to stand, sit, stoop, crawl and work in various positions throughout the work day.
