Our commercial concrete construction company specializes in footing, foundations and slab on grade work for highly visible commercial companies in the Boise area. Most of our projects are located within a 25-mile radius of the Boise area. We are looking to hire a full-time concrete finisher.
Must be able to smooth and finish surfaces of placed concrete; such as, floors, sidewalks, walls, slab on grades, foundations, other flat work and curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. Complete any type of concrete work as assigned. Safely operate equipment, attend weekly on-site safety toolbox meetings with the crew and help others be aware of their surroundings with personnel and structures on the job site. General understanding of concrete principles is a plus; such as, concrete mix designs, admixtures, curing, cold and hot weather procedures for concrete placing and finishing, aligning forms that hold concrete; as well as, using rakes, shovels, hand trowels and roller screeds for concrete placement. General understanding of form work is a plus for small retaining walls, slab on grades, foundations, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, flat work and expansion joints.
