Diesel Mechanic

We are a family-owned business and are looking for a team player to join our Heavy Diesel Roadside and Shop department.

This position is looking for someone who is experienced and can run service calls. The right candidate for this position will have their own tools (specialty tools and service truck are provided). The canidate will have the ability and motivation to work independently.

Responsibilities:

-Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel trucks, buses, and trailers.

-Diagnose, inspect, and repair diesel engines.

-Maintain accurate records of repairs made.

-Maintain a clean work area.

-Work cooperatively with other team members.

-Work independently as needed to complete tasks.

-Follow all company policies and procedures.

-Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Skills:

·Ability to read and understand technical documents such as technical manuals, safety rules, and operating and maintenance instructions.

·Ability to use hand tools such as saws, drills, screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches, ratchets, etc.

·Ability to work independently with little supervision or in a team environment.

Required: 3 year of experience with diesel mechanic

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Valid driver’s license required (Class B or Class A) Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
