We are a growing local drywall repair company serving the Boise and Treasure Valley area. We specialize in residential drywall repair, patching, and texture matching. Not focused on large new-construction hanging jobs.
We are looking for an experienced Drywall Repair & Finishing Technician who takes pride in quality work, communicates well with customers, and can complete jobs independently with professionalism.
If you have experience in drywall finishing, patching, and texture matching (orange-peel, knockdown, smooth finish), and painting this is a great opportunity for stable, year-round work with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
Perform drywall repairs including holes, cracks, dents, and water-damage sections
Hang small patches or full sheets when needed
Tape, mud, sand, and finish repairs to match the surrounding surfaces
Match or recreate existing wall/ceiling textures (orange peel, knockdown, skip trowel, etc.)
Sand, prep, and prime repaired areas
Paint and blend repaired surfaces so patches are undetectable
Prep job sites, protect customer property, and clean up work areas
Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide friendly customer service
Load, unload, and track materials needed for each job
Drive to job locations, follow daily schedule and complete work efficiently and with high quality
Document job progress using a mobile device (photos, job notes)
Requirements:
3–7+ years of drywall experience (repair, finishing, and texture matching strongly preferred)
Ability to complete drywall repair jobs start-to-finish with minimal oversight
Strong finishing and texture-matching skill (orange-peel & knockdown required)
Strong painting skill with the ability to blend colors and sheens
Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Treasure Valley
Vehicle large enough to transport at least a half sheet of drywall
Basic drywall/finishing tools
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders when required
Excellent communication and customer-facing professionalism
Must be dependable, on time, and able to manage a daily workflow
Valid driver’s license required
