At Same Day Electric, Apprentice Electricians work 8:00am-5:00 pm Monday through Friday, are not scheduled after hours or on weekends, and are never on call. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
Residential electrical experience
An active Idaho Apprentice Electrical license
At least 2 years of documented schooling and hours
(1st-2nd year apprentice students or individuals without residential electrical experience need not apply)
Clean background
Clean driving record
Be able to pass a drug screening
CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING TASKS:
Readily identify wire, wire gauges, and small parts.
Install single pole switches, three way switches, receptacles, and have basic make up skills; I.E. correctly make up basic series and parallel circuits.
Install ceiling fans, pendant lighting and can lights without assistance
Must be actively pursuing documented apprenticeship hours and schooling. (1st-2nd year apprentice students need not apply)
Must have a complete set of hand tools
