We seek highly skilled and experienced Commercial (Flat) Roofing Maintenance & Repair Technicians to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect roofs of varying pitches from low slope to high slope
Perform roof repair, and preventative maintenance
Clean and maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
Treats others with respect and consideration
Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments
Completes tasks on time
Follows instructions, responds to management direction
Shows up to work every day on time
May be required to drive a company vehicle to work locations
Must be able to work in varied extreme weather conditions (extreme hot and extreme cold weather)
Load and unload material and equipment from variant heights
Load material and equipment from vehicles on and off the roof
Lift heavy objects by hand or with a host and clean work area
Follow company and OSHA safety rules
Take before and after pictures, fill out work orders and follow company procedures regarding purchase orders
Follow established company procedures to ensure consistency, safety, and quality in repair work
Efficiently plan the use of equipment and supplies, ensuring they are available when needed to avoid delays.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 2 years proven experience as a commercial roofer working with TPO and other flat roof applications as well as metal and shingles.
Valid Driver's License with no restrictions and good driving record
Ownership of hand tools specified in the pre-employment tool list.
Basic ability to use hand tools specific to job duties.
Willingness to work in varying outdoor climate conditions.
Compliance with company drug, alcohol, and safety policy.
Reliable transportation
Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and applicable State and Federal laws.
Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job including standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, bending, reaching, and more.
Experience with commercial roofing systems: EPDM, BUR, Foam, Acrylic, Shingles, TPO, PVC, Mod. Bit. and Metal
