TKC Fleet Service LLC, located in Southeast Boise, is seeking a hard working individual for a Heavy Truck Mechanic position. We are looking for a self-starter who can complete time sensitive job tasks with minimal supervision. We are an established company with 10+ years in the valley.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Repairing heavy trucks
Repairing semi-trailers
Oil changes
Miscellaneous engine repairs
Welding
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must have a working knowledge of mechanics
Willing to work from mobile service truck
Be a team player with good communication skills
Good verbal, written and computer skills
Must have own hand tools
Ability to diagnose and trouble electrical, brake, and fuel systems on heavy trucks
Must provide valid driver’s license and a acceptable driver's record (Class A CDL a plus)
Ability to regularly lift and manipulate heavy objects (up to 70 pounds)
Willingness to work outdoors during inclement weather
