Job Description:
Bruin Property Services focuses mainly on the maintenance and upkeep of rental properties. As a Maintenance Tech, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of these properties for our clients. You will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks including handyman services, general repairs, and upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general handyman tasks including minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs.
Small painting projects, including prepping surfaces, painting, and clean-up.
Repair and patch drywall.
Diagnose and repair small appliances and fixtures.
General construction tasks.
Respond to maintenance requests from tenants in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Turn over vacant rental units in preparation for new tenants.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a handyman or maintenance technician.
Proficiency in painting, drywall repair, and general construction.
Experience with small appliance repair and troubleshooting, not required but is a plus.
Ability to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks independently.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
