MEASURE TECHNICIAN - WINDOWS/DOORS - FULL TIME
We are a Premier Services Group, a Residential Installation Services company that is searching for a local Measure Technician to complete measurement/take-off/assessments/materials list work ups for the following types of projects:
- Windows (Nail Flange, Block Frame, Finless w/ Sloped Sill Adapter)
- Doors (Interior/Exterior/Storm, Screen, Security)
Each project measurement will require an accurate measurement of product to be ordered to include but not limited to:
- Sizing of Product
- Quantity of Product
- Additional Product required to complete project.
- Site Map and/or Drawing of Project outline
- Accurately pricing projects w/ provided line items
- Pertinent Information for installation team (Access availability to home, specialty notes about project etc.)
- Previous Project Management a plus - with focus on Exterior Residential replacement projects
This position will require you to have a flexible schedule, with some work on some weekends as needed. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include traveling to different project locations to perform accurate Measurement/Take-offs of projects we will be installing. All information will then be uploaded into our company client management software for review, same day.
In addition to completing the measurements - you will also be the main point of contact for our Sales Associates who have questions on all product, sizing, pricing etc. You will be responsible for making sure these Sales Associates and our installers are set-up for maximum success on projects.
Candidates who have these traits/skills will succeed in this role:
- Construction knowledge/background.
- Former experience in estimation/measuring for Windows, Roofing, Fencing, Doors.
- Ability to use a tape measure and perform accurate measures is A MUST HAVE.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check - no felonies, no exceptions.
- Must be able to provide excellent customer service while on site and in customer's homes.
Must be proficient with technology - desk top, tablet, smart phone.
