CALIFORNIA CLOSETS, the leader in the custom storage industry, is seeking full-time shop help for our rapidly growing business in Nampa Idaho. This is year-round indoor work. Experience preferred but we would be willing to train the right person.
Hours: M-F 7am to 3:30pm during busy times, there may be overtime.
Responsibilities
· On/off-loading of the product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for ten or more hours, daily.
· Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
· Operate company vehicles, tools and equipment in a safe and productive manner.
· Partake in training programs as needed and required.
Qualifications:
· HS Diploma or GED; Trade or vocational school experience desirable (or in process of getting one or the other)
· Ability to read, understand and interpret paperwork, labels and mathematical measurements including using a tape measure
· Strong verbal and listening skills
· Able to work individually and in teams
· Able to provide high level of customer service
· Experience with common hand and power tools
· Forklift experience a plus
· Ability to stand and be on feet for 8+ hour shift
· Effectively communicate with leadership/Co-workers on any issues with material and/or mechanical breakdowns.
· Detail Oriented in quality checking every piece of material
· Maintain a safe and clean work area
· Ability to lift 50-100lbs; reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, crouch
