Viking Medical Transportation is looking for a Non-Emergency Medical Transport driver to join our family owned and operated business dedicated to providing safe and reliable transport. We are looking for a physically strong and dependable driver to operate both wheelchair and gurney transports. 30- 40 hrs per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, hospital discharges etc.
- The role includes bending, squatting and pushing to secure wheelchairs in the vehicles. Lifting, transferring and securing gurneys transports.
- Ensure a comfortable and respectful environment for all clients. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a valid, clean driving record and clean background.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Be CPR certified or willing to become certified.
- Experience in non-emergency medical transport preferred.
- Physically able to lift and assist patients.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for serving all walks of life.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
- Punctuality and reliability is a MUST.
