Viking Medical Transportation is looking for a driver for 30-40 hrs a week. Hours vary daily according to schedule.
Requirements of the job are:
-Over 24 years old (for insurance reasons).
-Clean driving record.
-Must be able to pass a background check.
-Physically able to push/ lift various weights in a wheelchair and gurney.
- Must be CPR/ First Aid certified or willing to become certified.
- We need reliable people that understand the importance of showing up to work because people are relying on us.
- Have great customer service skills and empathy with all ages and walks of life.
- Have the ability to problem solve and make good judgements
- A great attitude and ability to work in a fast pace environment.
We are willing to train the right person if they are a good fit for the job and company.
The candidate would be working with hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, Hospice Agencies and private pay from home.
Pay would depend on the candidates experience but our hourly rates are very competitive within the industry.
