OTR Truck Driver - Agricultural Industry

Position Overview:
As a Truck Driver with A&D Custom, you will play a crucial role in transporting agricultural products, such as grain, feed, fertilizers, and other essential materials, to various farms, co-ops, and processing facilities. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial truck (Class A CDL) to transport agricultural products.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring secure and accurate delivery.
- Inspect and maintain the truck, including routine checks on tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels.
- Follow all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and hours worked.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of products to prevent damage during transport.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a truck driver (agriculture-related experience preferred but not required).
- Ability to handle long hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
- Familiarity with agricultural products and equipment is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Physical ability to handle loading and unloading of materials when needed.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
