The plant supervisor position is critical and here are some of the things you will do:

Manage and provide training for batch plant personnel, drivers, and customers.

Oversee the production and verify the quality of all mixes being delivered.

Monitor employee training and certification.

Maintain team recruiting, hiring, promotion, and corrective action.

Assist in customer service through job-site visits and involvement in pre-construction meetings.

Coordinate trouble shooting of concrete problems related to production and delivery.

Advise area manager when employee and customer situations are beyond scope of authority.

Maintain active involvement with industry related associations.

Prepare and submit reports as required.

Maintain insurable driving record.

Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.

Strong leadership, problem solving, and technical skills.

Ability to review and analyze financial and logistic information.

Strategic thinking skills.

Ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.

2+ years in a leadership capacity.

4+ years in concrete, logistics, and/or a construction capacity that deals heavily in concrete.

High School diploma preferred.

You'll need a valid driver's license, and you'll need to show your eligibility to work in U.S.
