Yard & Garden Manager
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Grounds Keeper/Caretaker. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for outdoor aesthetics and a comprehensive understanding of horticulture.
Responsibilities:
Lawn & Garden Maintenance: Perform all aspects of lawn care, including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing. Maintain garden beds through weeding, mulching, and pest control.
Plant, Shrub & Tree Care: Demonstrate a keen knowledge of plant health, including proper watering techniques, pruning, and disease prevention for a variety of plants, shrubs, and trees.
Sprinkler System Management: Exhibit a thorough understanding of sprinkler systems, including installation, repair, and efficient operation to ensure optimal hydration for all landscaping.
General Groundskeeping: Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the grounds, including debris removal and minor repairs to outdoor structures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in groundskeeping or a similar role.
Demonstrated knowledge of sprinkler systems and their maintenance.
A "knack for growing healthy plants, shrubs & trees" is essential, indicating a natural aptitude and successful track record in horticulture.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Physical ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
