Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our small manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CNC operations and will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Set up and operate CNC machines, including milling machines, lathes and other metal working machines.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers and other measuring devices with precision.
Assemble and Reassemble components as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective manufacturing plans based on specifications
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Understanding of health and safety regulations to reduce the risk of workplace accidents
Periodically performing other duties that are assigned by a supervisor as needed.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
Routinely lifting 50-75 pounds and remaining stationary through a shift
Experience
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting other schematics.
Working knowledge of Mastercam, Fusion 360 and other software applications.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate various machining tools effectively.
Knowledge of M Code and G Code
Fabrication Skills Including cutting, bending, and welding metal

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
